COMPTIA ADVOCACY WEBINAR EXAMINES THE FUTURE OF THE ONLINE MARKETPLACE | Latest News

The recent US Supreme Court ruling on online merchants, sales tax and US $ 450bn impact will be discussed on Wednesday, July 11, at a free webinar provided by the Leading Technology Association of the Company.

A group of legislators and tax experts will start the "Online Sunday Future" on September 3. East July 11.

Last month, the South Sud ruled that South Dakota had made a case against Wayfair because online retailers may be required to collect sales taxes, even if they are not individuals. The government abolished the 1992 decision, as states have forced taxes to be paid only in enterprises with brick and closed seas.

"The Supreme Court's decision to abolish the standard of physical abuse has created an uncertain market for buyers and sellers," says Elizabeth Hyman, vice president of CompTIA, public relations. "Our experts will discuss what this new tax picture means and what future politicians can do."

Scheduled to participate in the CompTIA webinar are:

  • Joseph Bishop-Henchman, executive vice president, The Tax Foundation;
  • Nikki E. Dobay, senior tax counsel, Council on State Taxation;
  • Erick D. Harris, legislative counsel to U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio); and
  • Stephen P. Kranz, partner, McDermott, Will & Emery.
